A kaisendon seafood rice bowl topped with sashimi and salmon roe

The best kaisendon in Singapore on our data are Kei Kaisendon for the widest reach and a $14.90++ entry bowl, Omote for chirashi from $18.80, and MUKAI for tall mounds of chopped seafood from $28.90++. Nine more places follow, from a $9.90 chirashi in Tampines to a $48 kaisen chirashi in Bugis, each with the bowl to order and its price on record.

How we chose

We ranked places that have a bowl on record, a clear signature and a source we could check ahead of the rest, then ordered them by how directly the bowl fits the idea of sashimi over rice. Closed and unverified listings are left out. Prices come from menus and reviews read between February and October 2026, with the date shown where an entry is older or less certain. The price band is the shop's overall band in our directory: $ is a typical bowl under $12, $$ is $12 to $25 and $$$ is over $25. A ++ means service charge and GST are added. Data checked October 2026.

Ordering tips

Check the size before the price. Kei sells its signature in small, regular and large, so the $14.90++ entry bowl is the small, and Dorobo and MUKAI both sell cheaper bowls than the ones we highlight. Ask whether the price includes service charge and GST, because the ++ shops add roughly 20 percent. Several places keep split or lunch only hours, so check the shop page before you travel. None of the twelve is flagged halal in our data.
