Tokyo kaisendon specialist MUKAI opened its first overseas outlet here in August 2026, serving towering Kaiho Don bowls from $28.90++.

MUKAI is a Shibuya kaisendon restaurant whose first overseas outlet opened at Plaza Singapura in August 2026. Its Kaiho Don stacks chopped seafood into tall mounds, ranging from the Nami at $28.90++ to the limited Goku Goku at $79.90++, capped at 30 servings a day. Partway through the meal, warm dashi is poured over the remaining seafood and rice to turn it into ochazuke. A long central counter overlooks the chefs.
